Details
Register in person on the day of the event starting at 7:00 AM (on Sunday, July 26, 2026) on North side of the Polka Hall. Cooking will begin promptly at 9:00 AM

Registration starts at 7AM on North side of Polka Hall

Cooking can begin at 9AM (you supply your own meat for each category)

Chicken turn in is at 2PM (you can turn in boxes 5 minutes before and 5 minutes after 2PM - you will be docked if you're late)

Rib turn in is at 3PM (you can turn in boxes 5 minutes before and 5 minutes after 3PM - you will be docked if you're late)

Meat is judges on TASTE, TENDERNESS, and APPEARANCE. Garnishes are optional and limited to lettuce, curly parsley, flat leaf parsley, or cilantro. There needs to be 6 identifiable pieces of meat in each box.

All meat will be inspected w hen you stop at registration - all chicken and ribs must be untouched prior to check in. Teams will be given "turn in boxes" at that time also.​​
